| MindPower International makes impact at the Space and Missile Defense Conference |

HUNTSVILLE, AL -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- August 22, 2003 - MindPower International, an Oracle integration and consulting services firm, exhibited their Oracle services at the 6th annual Space and Missile Defense Conference held in Huntsville, Alabama August 18th - 21st. The four-day government conference featured over 400 industry vendors supporting the United States defense initiative and homeland security efforts. MindPower International Executives also attended a golf tournament held at the PGA rated Robert Trent Jones golf trail. MindPower's services of special interest at the conference were Oracle upgrades, training and eLearning services, security and patch management, vulnerability remediation, COTS implementation expertise, custom web development and document management (with an emphasis on automated archival and retention).
Defense industry experts and dignitaries from across the United States attended the annual conference. The focus of the Space and Missile Defense Conference is technology and technical innovation. Its purpose is to promote the exchange of thoughts and ideas between Government and Industry researchers, developers, testers, and users to ensure that missile defense systems and components are feasible, affordable, and effective against today's and tomorrow's threats. Some of the keynote speakers in attendance included Lt. Generals Joseph M. Cosumano Jr. and Ed Anderson III, Republican Senators Jeff Sessions and Richard Shelby from Alabama, and Congressman Curt Weldon. Congressman Weldon and Lt. General Cosumano both spent time with MindPower International Executives David Sellers and Sean Harte to discuss the challenges faced by small business in the government defense industry.
